Thread: Ubuntu 11.10 on netbook acer aspire one, network shutting on and off

my wireless connection keeps shutting down ofter load few pages; works disconnects tries reconnect, reconnects , keeps doing this, no longer shows access point router (though not every time).

net-book brand new , acer, aspire 1 ubuntu 11.10, 64 bit. please help.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
