Thread: Ubuntu wont boot on Asus p8p67 pro

hey guys,i purchased new desktop. config asus p8p67 pro...with b3 stepping , has uefi...processor intel 2600k...i booting pendrive..to install ubuntu,but wont boot..it jsut stops @ cursor...i waited more 15 mins 2-3 times...updated bios/uefi...whatever is...still,no luck...any wud appreciated. cheers...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
