Thread: Would it be safe to remove or decrease reserved space on flash drive

i have flash drive formatted ext4. earlier noticed reserved disk space cheating me out of half gig, , decided that, seeing there no system installed on it, safe turn down if not turn off reserved area. however, in past experiences of doing whatever comes mind, i've found i've run lot of problems, decided ask here.

so; safe to turn down or turn off reserved area on ext4 filesystem used on flash drive no linux system installed on it?

p.s. have ubuntu 10.10 32 bit installed on different flash drive (8 gb). minimum safe reserved space percentage?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
