Overlapping arrows in a circle
hello everyone,
i'm trying make overlapping arrows in circle ones here. pretty have it, i'm having trouble how layers right.
here's have far:
note spacing little off, number 1. tried rotate each arrow 60 degrees, it's not perfect.
secondly, bottom arrow above everything, instead of above @ point , below @ base. how 1 achieve feat?
thanks beginner!
paulette,
there may more ways, depending on way colour arrows.
one way works in case, without changing colour transition, to:
1) create copy of second last arrow, move top in layers palette, , change colour white;
2) select , last arrow , in transparency palette flyout tick make opacity mask, clip unticked , invert mask ticked.
another way, might change colour transition, might (otherwise) to:
1) create copy of second last arrow, move top in layers palette;
2) select , last arrow , pathfinder>minus front (subtract shape area, maybe requiring press alt/option in older versions).
to rotate precisely 60 degrees in simple way, may create large circle centred @ centre of arrows, select , first arrow, , object>transform>rotate both 60 degrees until have them all.
