Overlapping arrows in a circle


          hello everyone,

i'm trying make overlapping arrows in circle ones here. pretty have it, i'm having trouble how layers right.

 

 

here's have far:

note spacing little off, number 1. tried rotate each arrow 60 degrees, it's not perfect.

 

secondly, bottom arrow above everything, instead of above @ point , below @ base. how 1 achieve feat?

there may more ways, depending on way colour arrows.

 

one way works in case, without changing colour transition, to:

 

1) create copy of second last arrow, move top in layers palette, , change colour white;

2) select , last arrow , in transparency palette flyout tick make opacity mask, clip unticked , invert mask ticked.

 

another way, might change colour transition, might (otherwise) to:

 

1) create copy of second last arrow, move top in layers palette;

2) select , last arrow , pathfinder>minus front (subtract shape area, maybe requiring press alt/option in older versions).

 

to rotate precisely 60 degrees in simple way, may create large circle centred @ centre of arrows, select , first arrow, , object>transform>rotate both 60 degrees until have them all.
