Run Time Error when attempting to use pse 10 editor

while using editor in pse 10, stopped working, giving me "run time error" message. have created new user account, created restore points on pc, attempted change preference files, no avail. software came installed on pc, i'm unable uninstall , reinstall don't have installation cd. pc manufacturer , adobe support have been unable (neither providing me product key). can me fix "run time error"?  until it's fixed, product unusable.

can share exact error message or screenshot might reviewing , suggest solution.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
