Thread: 10.04 dist-upgrade --fix-missing

on 2 of 6 ubuntu 10.04 machines, every time run dist-upgrade (or try sudo apt-get install anything) fails , says need run --fix-missing. i've read bit on , i've looked through /etc/apt/. i'm not sure causing problem.

possible copy /etc/apt/ directory 1 of 4 machines works fine 2 machines have problems?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
