Thread: Dual Booting Grub Bootloader Problems - Grub Prompt

hello, have problems dual booting ubuntu 11.10 , windows 7

after install instead of booting options, grub displays prompt , nothing else, (i used grub partition error)

used boot-rescue , first pastebin here http://paste.ubuntu.com/799853/ , second pastebin here http://paste.ubuntu.com/799868/

nothing changed. went windows 7 , fixed boot , mbr. currently, have easybcd manage boot, option 1 windows 7, option 2 ubuntu, if click on ubuntu sent grub prompt.

appreciated.

grub2 (v1.99) installed in the mbr of /dev/sda , looks @ sector 1 of same hard drive core.img. core.img @ location , looks on drive.
