Thread: Ltsp Client no dhcp

i setup ubuntu desktop ltsp add-on , cant seem thin client boot using vmware , server has nics, 1 internet , other booting clients. internet 1 works fine other 1 seems connected clients no dhcp or proxy dhcp received. want know default ip address server sets when u install on running desktop. both machines have same nic , drivers don't know doing wrong server has 512mb ram 5gb hd set 2 processor cores. know server ram on skimpy side test know doing when real server set up. , appreciated thank in advance.
if there other info need let me know , post it. want make sure works before spend big money buying server.

got vlans? 2nd server nic it's on same vlan thin clients?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
