i've lost internet connection applet top panel , mistakenly replaced applet system/preferences/network connections not useful.

find 'original' applet shows me when it's connecting rotating , lets me disconnect/re-connect net ?

right click on panel, "add panel" (sorry if i'm not accurate, use hispanic language), "notification area" or sort, , must appear was.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
