Thread: Replace middle mouse click with left+right click

hello,

have ms optical scrolling mouse, scroll wheel doubles middle mouse button. find when scrolling, press hard , accidentally activate middle mouse button feature, resulting in unexpected text inserts.

know how replace middle mouse button simultaneously holding down left , right mouse buttons?

tried using xinput:

but removes both middle key , left+right push key functionality.

tried installing gpointing-device-settings, didn't anything. gave following error, don't know if significant:
