Thread: A Solution

remove pulseaudio default install .

have 3 different architectures here on eleven different machines .
have had remove or disable in 1 way or instances of pulseaudio 1 .

have no desire continue quiet futile fight against ridiculous , inept implementation pulseaudio has become . want choice . don't want unnecessary work shoved down throat each succeeding distribution having more integrated , difficult way remove pulseaudio.

isn't open source choice ? not want pulseaudio . have briefly check web see not alone . (even without trip slashdot) .

i'm not trolling .
i'm not looking argument.
i'm not looking conversation.
i'm 1 voice wants choice , on install , have or not have pulseaudio installed .

p.s. 1 machine pulse works on abused quad-core intel workstation abused every day efforts , evenings media , entertainment . have no complaints pulse here because "it works" . in other cases response 'devl has been "it should work" or "pulse not problem , have considered updating/upgrading hardware?" ~kop
