Bloated clip on time line

in picture above, have imported  series of clips shot on 2 canon cameras. (1) xf305 , (2) xf105

 

problem - clips in timeline xf305 = 2hrs 45mins in video track no1 on video track 3, clips xf105 = 12 hours +. latter plays in real time. timelinefor video 3 in view should approx 2hs 45 mins

 

any suggestions how ro fix? seeking undertake multicamera edit.

 

the clips shot in 35mbps 1920 x 1080

i beleive there repeated clips on video track 3 ...seems problem...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
