file conversion from pdf to excel

hello; i'm interested buy , install adobe file converter excel . after 3 days waiting troubles on www, remains andn error message "your browser ie 4 or earlier not supporting macromedia.com" happens i'm using iexplorer 10 on windows 7 (64 bits) flash player installed 11.7.700.169

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
