How do I create a book cover design template for an EBM?

hello all..

i need create book cover template printed on espresso book machine. have viewed lynda.com video on youtube how setup pages (e.g. margins, bleed, etc.), using indesign 6.

the part cannot figure out (and know newbie question) how set paper size (ebm cover stock 11x17) larger size of book. trim size of book 5.83 x 8.27 because being printed on ebm cover (pdf) needs centered on 11x17 paper.

 

is possible...?

if not create cover separate document (like do) can use page tool select separate pages , change size. @ in indesign find out how use page tool if don't know how.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
