msg: FlashPlayerPlugin_11_7_700_169.exe - Bad Image

i running on ms vista os , whenever open firefox variant of message: "msg: flashplayerplugin_11_7_700_169.exe - bad image"  firefox related error.jpgdescription goes on say:

c:\windows\system32\winsta.dll either not designed run on windows or contains error.  try installing program again using original media or contact system administratoror software vendor support"

 

i have uninstalled , reinstalled flash.  have uninstalled , reinstalled firefox (maintaining personalizations, i.e.bookmarks...).  message continues appear.

 

having tried re & re obvious appplication don't know how further identify , remedy root cause of message.  can give me directions on next?

you have system file corrupted; try repairing system file checker.  administrator account run

sfc /scannow

 

you may need windows install disk this.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
