No gps info in 4.4 or 5beta

since updating 4.4 no longer gps info imported.  same camera's, gps equipment worked fine in 4.3.  can read info jpeg file on cf card using opanda believe lr bug?  dl'd 5 beta , same problem. else have problem?  suggestions?

can give access file that's showing problem please?  going outside , shooting grass fine! can either upload somewhere , post link here, or you're welcome use www.wetransfer.com send me @ uploads@lightroomqueen.com , i'll check if can replicate here.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
