PSE 11 not installable - rollback @ common technologies installing

have had pretty idea change old graphic-suite ps, wanted checkout pse 11 first , started downloading trial version intention purchase after installing, maybe upgrade ps cs6, if succeed.
but no chance, installing to  organizer went fine, @ end of this, there came message problem common technologies.... - known in forum. checked out "solutions" (there no 1 find, resolves problem @ root , in general....) - nothing worked. problems , time wastings enough posted here in forum , no contribution adobe.....so went ask @ chat-support, greatest disappointment: despite posted intention buy (money, money!!!!) 1 or 2 products, got advised, trial-products there no support. despite argued if cannot install trial version, can expect same purchased 1 - , why should buy if know uninstallable? adobe chat partner closed chat. standing here, no chance installed pse 11.

- there no knowledge how solve problem, not mine?

general info: dell xps 420, intel core 2 quad cpu q6000 @2,4 ghz, 4(3,...) gb memory, win 7 ultimate 32b, grafic: amd radeon 7850, 3 hdd (500,500,1000 mb)

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
