Thread: The External HD Conundrum


using windows 7 have partitioned 2tb external usb hd. has 100gb free install ubuntu.

burnt install cd , followed instructions install onto unformatted 100gb bit of space on external. had split unformatted space allocating space root , space scrub. allowed me install.

installation completed , computer restarted. problem missing ntldr error.

know of simple fool proof way solve this?

btw rest of external hard drive contains data want keep. want use 100gb ubuntu use

check bios , see drive set boot first.
