Thread: hdpvr module

hi folks,

i'm trying copy pvr has multiple video/audio streams , in reading - http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/hauppauge_hd-pvr - on half way down talking "miscellaneous kernel module options" contain need, namely default_video_input , default_audio_input (video_nr nice well)

if read right, in order activate options, i'd need recompile kernel; right?

if case, need talk getting options enabled/included default please?

reason being, i've been told mythtv chops recorded files @ top of every hour, makes game stream capture bit of faff because after stream conversion format, audio goes out of sync (re-synching 1 stream isn't hard, resynching multiple streams stuck pain) ... , haven't yet come across simple gui application can record stream multiple sources on card.

great able copy /dev/video0 file; need controls

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
