Thread: Install .inf file


hi
using windows wireless drivers , in process of trying install drivers.
windows wireless drivers shows me small box says: install new driver
well, when select file driver in , click install small window opens , says:
not valid driver .inf file
" inf file" ?
how know (.inf file) alert windows wireless drivers mgr install it?


have opened folder driver in , see file " debian - binary" 2.0;
clueless on is. installed ndiswrapper-common_1.56-1_all.deb , installed nsidwrapper - utilis 1.9_ 1.56-1_136.deb , ubuntu told me install successful.

.inf file script gives windows commands has installed , configured specific device driver.

in windows there somewhere under system directory many .inf files. can open 1 in text editor , see inside.

windows driver inf file coming , installation going according steps given in it.
inf file has in default position or have point installation it.

not sure trying do. install linux driver on linux? install windows driver on windows? install windows driver via ndiswrapper?
