i don't know if right support category. or if should put in sevenforums. i'm trying install irc client bitchx through cygwin on windows7. part way through ./configure , stops here

checking getpgid in unistd.h...


missing library? ive tried re-downloading etc , still same problem. ideas?

does come after line posted?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
