Thread: "gnome-display-properties" not working with openbox session

hello

i'm using openbox on ubuntu 10.04.

when using additional monitor notenook, both monitors show same display. tried using "gnome-display-properties" change settings, unchecking "same image in monitors" doesn't work , option reverts when closing program. same program works fine changing settings when using default gnome-session.

problem be? there component of gnome should running, doesn't start openbox?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
