Thread: Off line package download and install procedure

i running ubuntu 10.04 server . server isnt connected internet other machines are.

#apt-get install update
#apt-get install upgrade
#apt-get install package

above 3 commands in updating patches , installing "package" referenced 33rd command above

looking process achieve same effect of above 3 commands downloading software on other machines, copying download on servers , manually doing 3 operations.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
