Thread: Panel Items Fixed Location?

i xubuntu lot. but, 1 of complaints fact panel items can't in fixed location instead of right next previous item. example if want time way in righ hand corner , there pretty nothing else on panel go right next whatever on left. have put ton of separators on panel before time in right hand corner annoying. use windows buttons on top separators wouldn't much. there anyway can move time applet right hand corner without bunch of separators? know in gnome 2 drag wherever on panel , wouldn't move

place separator left of time applet , in separator properties, check box "expand". force clock right-side of screen.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
