Thread: Ubuntu 11.10 freezing playing video

hi there, have 2 laptops running ubuntu 11.10 , network hard drive attached router. use 1 of laptops show music dvds in restaurant downstairs. have tried quite while play dvds drive keeps on freezing, making impossible watch whole show. sad thing windows 7 can watch more 1 video @ time , runs smoothly. have tried second laptop (personal) , exactely same when playing dvds network drive ubuntu. has idea solve problem? don't want have use windows specially in public area. show support linux community. in advance
