Thread: USB tuner card not found

first: card playing quite nicely in vlc , kaffeine.

after shutdown , reboot message in vlc:

vlc unable open mrl 'dvb://frequency=0'

kaffeine can not find card either.

can see hauppauge card recognized lsusb request. card lights up.

possibly connected: card not start-up/recognized when plugged in after boot, while inserted before boot up.
same mouse.

have tried in usb sockets same results.

assistance appreciated.

two days later fixed itself. wtf? still know how fix if happens again.
