hello everyone,

have purchased new vodafone usb modem (zte k3770-z) , tried connect ubuntu 11.04. not automatically detected on ubuntu.

have installed windows 7 , ubuntu 11.04 on laptop.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
detect modem on ubuntu did following steps :-

1) connect modem laptop , boot machine windows 7
2) after detecting modem on wndows, restarted machine , enter ubuntu.

know solution detect modem automatically on ubuntu?

in advance.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
