Thread: Wireless card just stops working?!

greetings,i'm using atheros ar5007eg wireless card on toshiba laptop. i'm using debian squeeze,and have following problem:
whenever use wireless more than...10 minutes,it stops. yes,just stops. no networks in range,restarting card doesn't work.

now,i point out other things:

yes,i know ath5k drivers bad unless update kernel newer version 2.6.28.1. i'm 2.6.32-5-686 version now. have tried using ath9k driver,nothing happens.

think that's all,i happy if

have tried moving network manager wicd? ar5001 works surprisingly wicd had many problems network manager, can't explain why.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
