Captivate Crashes When Editing Question Pool

captivate v5.5

 

i have project 36 questions in question pool.

 

i need edit these qp questions start doing message captivate has encountered error...very sorry...and must close down. have tried 3 times , every time.

 

i have edited qp questions many times before without problem.

 

i not working via company network have moved locations 1 part of office another, in case means anything.

 

can offer suggestions. happy provide more details if required.

can let me know if current location of project on server or network?

 

also, launch captivate beofre editing project, go edit --preferences -- general-- check option generate project backup.

 

do 1 more test, create project adn impor question pool of project there -- file--import --question pool.

try editing fisrt in dummy project, if allows, try again on main project.

 

if still crashes, try copying slides excluding quiz result slide project.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
