Errors installing - exit Code 6

i have tried twice install , download photoshop cs6 , other cs6 programs cloud.  none of them install of way or correctly.  have uninstalled , tried again.  same error.  " installation completed optional components failed install correctly." when click more info - exit code 6.  how these install , work on computer? - try start program , error "some of application components missing application directory. please reinstall program"   have done , not work

use adobe cleaner tool remove whatever adobe softwares there on system.: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
