Thread: Building deb of bash scripts

hi, forum!
want build own deb-package carry on routine work (initial setup of user' workstations). package consists of few configs , bash script. before putting configs /etc directory need necessary packages installed. hence in config file of package have following entry:
depends: vim, subversion, cmake, ...etc
can build deb out of during installation using apt-get output consists of errors following:
e: release 'my_package_name' 'tickr' not found
heck it??

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
