Thread: Faulty bios or cpu or motherboard?

i using computer under high load it's old dell d610. anyway, of sudden goes jerky , couldn't it. hold power turn off , after wont boot, tells me in manufacturing mode level 67. put different cpu in , boot. screen wont come on. keep trying , goes.. ideas happened? running ok i'm not sure if cpu or keep trying bit. way succesfully reflashed bios well.

edit: way i've never had problems before this, took 81 tries boot 3 times

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
