if switch workspace whilst firefox open, ff closes without saving content. switch workspaces via mouse wheel.

has else noticed behaviour? causing me considerable trouble , loss of time.

no, i'm afraid not, can't use firefox (don't it, it's slow on machine)

however, if open terminal (lxmenu -> accessories > lxterminal

, type:

firefox
it launch firefox. whatever crash, post output terminal here, "firefox" "robbyx@robbyxcomputername:~/$"

can see going wrong. thanks!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
