Thread: How to add LAME gapless tags without reencoding the MP3s?

hi,

have set of mp3 files not encoded lame. don't know of linux audio player can play mp3 gaplessly without these tags (even if deadbeef can come close). have them, how can add gapless tags them without reencoding files , suffering quality degeneration? i've googled around, , haven't been able find way.

you try adding "itunesgapless" value of "1" each file... poor support on windows (let alone linux) media players (including itunes), however.

either or manually contruct cuefile?
