Thread: how to use tor + privoxy + opera?

hello, seems cannot opera browser cooperate tor , privoxy. see, installed tor using debs tor project site, plus privoxy. started vidalia , tor works, since start firefox using tor button.

under opera can't. followed instruction telling must set http proxy 127:0.0.1:8118. did it. however, not work since site check.torproject.org keeps telling me "sorry. not using tor."

you sure ip address? googling brings post.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
