Thread: Installer hangs when user completes wizard before files are copied

i noticed whenever complete installation options wizard
before installer completes copying files, hangs with
text "ready when are".
such parallel copying/filling forms introduced (a few releases back). before it, had no problems installer.

workaround wait until installer copies files and
start filling installation options.

this huge bug. solution worked me after googling hours , trying multiple disks / variations of ubuntu/lubuntu/xubuntu. bug present on 11.10 installer. leaving install screen on time zone selection screen until copies files , says "ready when are" thing worked. google boost ranking thread search phrase.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
