Thread: Minecraft loading errors

i new ubuntu , want resume playing minecraft used on windows.

have followed various posts , threads install onto system, playing problem. can open , login , fine, once title screen have 10 second window anything. crashes when try create new world, , when open 1 of worlds moved on other system starts load. if i'm fast enough can see game after loads, maybe second.

using ubuntu 11.10 openjdk 6. i've tried every way of installing minecraft , won't work. thing think wrong jre times out, idk why or how that.
