Thread: Wifi problem when installing Ubuntu

ladies , gentlemen;

i've been trying 3 days replace crappy windows 7 ubuntu linux because believe microsoft may tool of devil. problem when try load disk made, not past wifi page, if have plugged router, now. boot disk, , getting use live, stop , restart teh computer , goes windows.

so, technical specs:

toshiba a505d-s6987

amd turion ii ultra dual core m600

2.4ghz

4 gb installed ram

64 bit

hl-dt-st dvdram ga10f ata

realtek rtl 8191se wireless lan 802.11n pci-e nic

please me. know truth out there. want see matrix. want free of shackles microsoft has forced upon me. want take red pill. want take red pill!!!!!!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
