Thread: Wireless driver name

i found these steps believe may wireless situation. wireless works before computer sleeps, after computer wakes adapter disabled , way know fix unplug , reinsert adapter.

gksudo gedit /etc/pm/config.d/config

put:

suspend_modules="your-drivers"

however, cannot figure out how find wireless driver name. using ndiswrapper d-link dwl ag132 usb adapter.
also, if has different steps involving getting adapter work besides ones listed above, i'd appreciate it.

have not been able install aircrack-ng, due following error:

e: package 'aircrack-ng' has no installation candidate


appreciated.

ps, can't use network manager info because use wicd, , network manager refused work @ last time tried it.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
