as announced, we're transitioning business catalyst existing data centers new cloud infrastructure, based on amazon web services (aws) cloud computing platform. part of our on-going effort improve our infrastructure , deliver highest quality service our partners.
our team has been working hard behind scenes make necessary preparations, there action required on behalf.
actions required keep sites online
to ensure painless migration, we've built reverse proxy allows start routing client sites through new infrastructure starting today. means can begin updating dns route through aws right away, , avoid last minute rush. we're allowing 30 day migration window ensure customers have time update sites.
if june 20th, 2013 websites not updated per instructions below, can not guarantee seamless migration, , sites , hosted email services no longer function.
by updating domain settings within next 2 weeks receive 15% coupon new site want bring business catalyst until beginning of september.
sites using dns hosted externally 3rd party registrar
sites dns hosted on 3rd party domain registrar (e.g. godaddy) must update dns records point 1 of the new data center ip addresses. legacy data center ip address decommissioned on may 20th, @ time if have not updated dns records, sites , hosted email no longer function. please update 3rd party registrar info our new ip addresses , create spf records each domain - can use either of 2 new ip addresses region when changing dns records:

update spf (txt) records
if dns hosted externally, you required update sender policy framework (spf) txt setup, make sure emails reaching customers inboxes. there 2 options in case:
- if domain has no spf or txt record defined, should add 1 following value: "v=spf1 mx include:worldsecuresystems.com ~all"
- if domain has txt or spf record, need include following value: "include:worldsecuresystems.com"
for detailed instructions spf , txt records, please read article. if unable find necessary tool so, please contact domain registrar.
sites using business catalyst's nameservers
