AME File Import Error:

-

  receiving following message ame when importing quicktime reference file avid mc 6.5.2.

 

"the file "c:users\productioneast\desktop\test\ka tue 5_7.mov" not imported. source file appears corrupted. lease check valid file."

 

 

we have been transcoding qt refs avid since march 2013. far can tell have changed nothing. error message started showing

 

 

up april 29 after updated ame , other cs6 software media in avid valid , present. avid dnxhd 75 or above.

 

 

 

software:  adobe media encoder cs6 , adobe cs6

 

 

updates installed on april 29, 2013

 

 

windows 7 professional - service pack 1

 

 

not using ame through creative cloud membership.

 

 

source footage:  quicktime reference avid media composer 6.5.2.

 

 

computer setup:

intel core i7 3.2 ghz

32 gb ram

64 bit

nvidia quadro 4000

i/o blackmagic decklink studio 2

reinstall quicktime , latest version of avid codecs.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
