Are we hostages paying $50/month for the rest of our lives to open our projects?

adobe, understand (in part) switch cc although think $50 price point on high side many people , maybe reintroduce suites give access products in our particular field $20-$30.

 

however, have not created exit strategy , result, holding customers hostage should ever not able justify or afford $50/month price point. while grudgingly pay amount suite working professional, know if ever decide move part time, retire, or work on personal projects, no longer able justify $50/month. of now, on day, remove access of past projects , prohibit me open, modify, or export have done software in past. hostage situation sure. how expect me continue creating proprietary project files knowing day know longer pay $50/month, pull rug out under me. insane. other companies have provided readers products allow me open , make basic modifications without paid versions.

 

you need create plan these situations. similar how can open , make basic changes , export pdf files using free tool, need provide these free tools cc members go off subscription. while understand not able create new documents , make massive changes, should able open/export/modify existing projects. fact can on subscription 5 years, pay $3000, , stripped of ability open past projects because didn't pay $50 monthly rediculous. when purchased masters collection, did planning on upgrading every release cycle, knowing day business closes or no longer supports heavy investment, continue able access current files.

 

you have created propietary hostage situation , urge introduce free version of software suites allows open , export projects @ least minor revision features such changing image size, cropping , items photoshop example. adobe products never fit business model until available. have been masters collection user long time , hate go, cannot continue work proprietary project file company hold files hostage $50/month.

that fits i´m thinking about.

i´m using cs master collection since came up. long time user (always date, , payed) on 20 years.

invested lots of money , lots of time in learning.

and force me situation "hire own work".

without solution gives me ability chnage files after subscription ends there´s absolutely no possibility use "cool" marketing blablabla cloud sht.

nothing against cloud. if wants or means need - go on 1 more cloud 1 more company.

(can´t hear word "cloud" more...)

but has option (like before) or adobe creats buy-out solution!
