Can i link a text box to a Word Doc

can link text box word doc when edited date same image  using id 6.

we have lot of cases our text amended via word document, nice able link text boxes, same way link images.

any sugestions gretafuly recived.

go indesign>preferences>file handling , tick checkbox reads: create links when placing text , spreadsheet files. if while file open, create links in file. if while no document open, become default new documents. existing documents won't change unless change preference , reimport text files.

 

when word file updated, links manager show text document modified. update file way update modified graphic link.
