Intermittent audio in Source monitor
i've been working on project while , has been normal.
i have started intermittent audio when review scene in source monitor.
the scene play until @ random point, audio stops. stopping , starting resumes audio may stop again.
video plays normally.
the thing have changed imported footage entire project, whereas before, had imported footage required sequences working on.
i notice media cache files folder 152gb although footage project 14gb.
do think intermittent audio problem associated media cache?
if use clean media cache feature, delete old projects i've completed , leave current one?
can manually delete media cache?
any advice appreciated. thanks

"clean" clear stuff i'm not sure of it's reasoning. deleting more sure. rename cache folder "old", point premiere new cache location in preferences. way if goes wrong in repopulation of new cache project, can revert changes. if goes new cache location, delete the"old" folder.
what sort of beast driving?
