Localhost inspect possible using ASP.NET?

hi all,

 

i webmaster site running on asp.net.  trying set edge inspect allow me view changes have made on local machine, on ipad.  i've read localhost integration asp.net , edge inspect don't play nice together.  has set edge inspect able preview changes on tablet/phone site runs on asp.net? 

i'm not familiar asp.net, sounds might talking 2 different things here. edge inspect should work web server serves content publicly. yes, edge inspect work public website.

 

but if you're doing development on localhost , you're using asp.net development server, that's different thing... http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/58wxa9w5%28v=vs.80%29.aspx

"if cannot or not want use iis web server, can still test asp.net pages using asp.net development server. asp.net development server, included visual web developer, web server runs locally on windows operating systems, including windows xp home edition. built serve, or run, asp.net web pages under local host scenario (browsing same computer web server). in other words, asp.net development server serve pages browser requests on local computer. not serve pages computer. additionally, not serve files outside of application scope."

 

so, edge inspect cannot work asp.net development server. not problem edge inspect, it's due limitation of dev server. if want preview pages localhost edge inspect, run site on iis rather asp.net development server.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
