Preview error: SWF compilation failed

i getting error when try preview project.

but project doesn't have user variables.

where should start troubleshooting? not project built. built developer. having trouble accessing quiz screen properties in master slides (posted question). seems project glitchy.

 

i opened , published blank project , fine, it's particular project. have many slides able create new project one-by-one find out if of them corrupt. can try before that?

go c:/program files(x86)/adobe/captivate/adobecaptivate.ini    (for windows 7)

          c:/program files/adobe/adobe captivate 6 x64                  (for win 7 captivate 64 bit)

         c:/program files/adobe/captivate/adobecaptivate.ini            (for windows xp)

        

 

open file notepad.

 

you need write "use32bitjvmforpublish = 1" (without double codes) in adobecaptivate.ini file.

 

note : make sure adobe captivate not running while editing .ini file.

 

save , try publish project.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
