PSE 11 Editor fails to restart after exit

organizer , editor launch after computer restart. but, after exit program, organizer re-launch- editor won't. pse editor process continues run in task manager after close editor. - , if end process in task manager ( or re-start computer) editor launch. did clean install. problem continues. 

 

 

try quitting editor using ctrl+q

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
