The Adobe Application Manager not showing that Acrobat XI Pro is installed when it has been

the adobe application manager not showing acrobat xi pro installed when has been installed adobe application manager. tried clicking install button in adobe application manager installs program again , gives button launch program. next time adobe application manager starts, says acrobat xi pro not installed, when has been installed (and works). i'm creative cloud subscriber on mac platform (macos 10.8.3). adobe applicationa manager version 7.0.0.324.

 

how can adobe application manager correctly show acrobat xi pro program installed?

 

thoughts?

we've seen other users have success deleting data following location on machine , trying update again. ~/library/application support/adobe/aamupdater/1.0/

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
