Thread: blender problems

i know wrong place ask but, wrong when try open blender (just downloaded 2.61 version), nothing happens, opened terminal , got:

can me?

it seems opengl system isn't working correctly. have tried installing blender ubuntu repository (eg, ubuntu software center or synaptic)? it's possible you're missing required package.
