Thread: Gparted shows more free space than nautilus (way more)


i don't know if appropriate place here goes:

when @ hard disks (external , internal) gparted, shows have more room nautilus tells me.

, isn't call logical either.

gparted;

disk 1

size: 931,51
used: 818,22
free: 113,29

disk 2

size: 298,09
used: 204,25
free: 93,84

far, if take account it's ext3 formatting.

nautilus:

disk 1

size: 916,9
used: 850,2
free: 66,7
disk 2

size: 293,4
used: 214,5
free: 78,9

here's logics seem end.

google fu isn't great hoped.

hi. have emptied trash @ all? thing might force file system check. recovers space left on deleted files.
